Country Cooking Month

Here's a little inspiration for a long weekend feast from a meal we enjoyed this past weekend built to celebrate country cooking month. Our garden isn't quite harvest ready yet, so we took a trip to the farmers market to get some local vegetables to pair with some local farm fresh beef we've been enjoying from our new friendly neighbourhood beef farmer in Fenelon Falls. We did manage to garnish it with our home herb garden. And to top it all off we got some farmers market strawberries to pair with a bit of rhubarb growing in our yard to enjoy a delicious strawberry rhubarb crumble.
