Upcycling Day. What a wonderful concept.
We love having the opportunity to create something out of nothing, or in this case turning something many might see as waste into something useful or valuable.
In this case we've dug up an old pile of about a dozen assorted tires on our property, and while we could just take them to the dump we've come up with a plan to turn them into a protective garden for the house. We're going to clean them up, give them a bit of new life and fresh colour as and fill them up with a variety of fresh flowers and herbs that are known to keep the bugs at bay. While we'd love to have the project done today, it's just too damn hot. Check in on our Instagram to see how they turn out.
